INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) is just like a bundle of all these things:

the water piping system; the electrical lining system; the bicycle; roads and highways; the library; the printing press; the telephone; the airplane; and many more. A career in IT is not a dead-end job; it's a continuous learning and innovating of a lot of things.

   The water piping system is used in drinking water lines, cooling water lines for chemical, petrochemical, mining and governmental projects. The water piping system is the transportation of water from a constricted section to a wide section and vice versa.

   An electrical line system has at least one magnetically compensated line system unit with at least two main conductors for transmitting electrical energy and further has at least one auxiliary conductor extending parallel to the at least two main conductors. The at least two main conductors and the at least one auxiliary conductor are phase-synchronized when the at least one auxiliary conductor carries current during operation of the electrical line system. The at least two main conductors and the at least one auxiliary conductor are arranged in a spatial arrangement relative to a first reference point in a first space extending parallel to the electrical line system, and the currents flowing in the at least two main conductors and the at least one auxiliary conductor are selected such that a vector sum of the magnetic field components emanating from the at least two main conductors and the at least one auxiliary conductor is substantially equal to zero at the first reference point. The spatial arrangement is defined by a distance between the at least two main conductors and the at least one auxiliary conductor relative to the first reference point and by a spatial distribution of the at least two main conductors and the at least one auxiliary conductor relative to the first reference point.

   A bicycle, also known as a bike, pushbike or cycle, is a human-powered, pedal-driven, single-track vehicle, having two wheels attached to a frame, one behind the other.

   Roads and highways provide the dominant mode of land transport. roads and highways form the back bone to the economy and provide essential links to the vast local and community (rural) road networks.

    A library is a collection of sources, resources, and services, and the structure in which it is housed; it is organized for use and maintained by a public body, an institution, or a private individual. In the more traditional sense, a library is a collection of books. It can mean the collection itself, the building or room that houses such a collection, or both. The term "library" has itself acquired a secondary meaning: "a collection of useful material for common use." This sense is used in fields such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, electronics and biology.

   A printing press is a device for applying pressure to an inked surface resting upon a print medium (such as paper or cloth), thereby transferring the ink. Typically used for texts, the invention and spread of the printing press are widely regarded as the most influential events in the second millennium AD, revolutionizing the way people conceive and describe the world they live in, and ushering in the period of modernity.

    A Telephone is a telecommunication device that transmits and receives sound, most commonly the human voice. Telephones are a point-to-point communication system whose most basic function is to allow two people separated by large distances to talk to each other. It is one of the most common appliances in the developed world, and has long been considered indispensable to businesses, households and governments.
    These are just some of the things to name a few which relates to the function of Information Technology. let's say for example the water piping system and the electrical lining system, the water piping system and the electrical lining system serves as the pathway of the flow of water and/or electricity. and Information Technology works the same way,  it serves or it can be applied as a connector between two devices having informations to be passed into the other. And also the informations travel through a medium, by the use of technology the informations can now travel smoothly as it is. Information Technology is a dominant mode of transportation of informations, storing of informations safely and securely. Also, Information Technology is responsible of producing informations into documents written in a paper just like the printer does. And in addition, Information Technology uses codes to let informations travel to the device which has the matched code of the used medium of storage. like the way you try to contact someone in a telephone.
   Of course Information Technology is not a dead-end job. Information Technology is a continuous cycle of Knowledge and Man, Technology innovates everyday because Man's thinking brain has no limitations. Everyday his mind is in a hunger of providing the needs, the simplest needs to obtain his contentness and comfortability. So the innovation of Technology is continuous and is innovating as long as man lives this World.
